  • Hisashi Takeuchi is currently a Department Chair in Department of Urology at Shinmatsudo Central General Hospital in Chiba, Japan. He received a M.D at Tokyo Medical University, Japan, in 2004. After a residency in urologic Medicine and Oncology at the Tokyo Medical University Hospital, he obtained a Ph.D from the Tokyo Medical University. he completed a postdoctoral fellowship investigating tumor immunology and anti-cancer effects of reactive oxygen species on bladder cancer in the laboratory of Ashish M Kamat at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (TX, USA). His current focuses on the study (molecular, translational biology and data analysis) of urologic oncology. He also focuses on the dysuria, urolithiasis, sexual function, Men's Health and regenerative medicine. He became an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Tokyo Medical University, Japan, in 2016. In addition to research, as a urologist, I have been in charge of diagnosing and treating urological tumors, urinary calculi, dysuria, and sexual function. In surgery, he specializes in endourology and robotic surgery. He joined the Editorial Board of BR and MI (Biomedical Reports and Medicine International) in 2023.
