  • Dr. Parteek Prasher (Ph.D.) is a Senior Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Guru Nanak Dev University, India, for his work on the rational design and development of peptide-appended indoles as anti-inflammatory agents. His research integrates medicinal and organic chemistry, nanotechnology, and drug delivery, with particular emphasis on polysaccharide-based therapeutic systems and molecular modeling. Dr. Prasher has published extensively in reputed international journals such as Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry, Current Medicinal Chemistry, Therapeutic Delivery, and Nanomedicine, and has edited multiple books for Elsevier, CRC Press, and Springer. He serves as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Drug Delivery and Guest Topical Editor for Current Nanoscience. A recipient of several national fellowships and research grants, including the DST-SERB TARE Fellowship (2022–2025), Dr. Prasher has been consecutively listed among the Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientists globally (2021–2024). His recognitions include the Research Excellence Award (2019–2024) and Best Teacher Award (2023) by UPES. With an interdisciplinary research vision and global collaborations, Dr. Prasher’s work continues to advance innovations in molecular medicine, bioactive compound design, and nanoscale drug delivery systems—bridging chemistry with translational biomedical applications.
