Wenfei Wang

My research is dedicated to building a complete innovation chain from “Biomacromolecule Engineering” to “Disease Mechanism Elucidation” and finally to “Translational Application”. Our lab focuses on the microbial production, engineering, and functional development of biomacromolecules such as proteins and polysaccharides, and systematically investigates their molecular pharmacology and immunomodulatory mechanisms in metabolic diseases including diabetes, obesity, and chronic inflammation.
