Short Bio
  • Bui Thi Kim Ly has earned her B.S. in Biotechnology in 2007 from the University of Sciences HoChiMinh city, Vietnam. She then entered the Biotechnology center of Ho Chi Minh City where she carried out research on molecular plant biotechnology. In 2010, Bui Thi Kim Ly started her Master’s and Ph.D. work in the Medical Genome of Sciences at Tokyo University (Japan) under the guidance of Prof. Toshiki Watanabe and Prof. Yuko Sato working on the mechanism of anticancer of EGCG-extract from green tea. Bui Thi Kim Ly has been working on the regulation of the cell signaling pathway, particularly the FLT3 signaling pathway. She is the person who suggests the mechanism that EGCG – green tea extract-regulates onco-tyrosine kinase proteins in leukemia. She is currently working at the Institute of Applied Technology, Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong Province, Vietnam.
