Ioannis Kanakis

I obtained my PhD in the field of Clinical Biochemistry/Bone Biology, based on clinical trials for the determination of biochemical markers of cancer-induced bone disease and evaluation of antiresorptive agents. I have extensive experience in musculoskeletal biology, exploring the pathobiochemistry of osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and age-associated muscle loss. I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Biochemistry at the Chester Medical School, University of Chester, UK and MSc Diabetes Programme Leader.
