This manuscript has been retracted by the Editorial Board of Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine, following an investigation prompted by an author of the article mentioned below. Figs. 1 and 2 in this manuscript were reproduced in their entirety from the following study: Zhang X, Cheng J, Qian X-b, Wu Y, Hong J, Jiang K, Song H-y, Yin Y-w and Gao D-q: Expression of DNA repair enzyme in esophagus squamous cell carcinoma and its clinical significance. Progress in Modern Biomedicine 10: 1127–1130, 2010. Every effort was made on the part of the publisher to contact the authors on the Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine paper, but were unable to do so. As a result, this article has been retracted by the Editorial Board of Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine.
