We wish to retract our research article entitled “MicroRNA-212 targets FOXA1 and suppresses the proliferation and invasion of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma cells”, published in Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine 12: 3790-3796, 2016.

We have discovered that some important data from the in vitro experiments was inadvertently omitted when we performed the statistical analysis, and this may consequently have affected the results of that analysis. As a result, we wish to retract this article so that the manuscript may be suitably revised. All the named authors on the paper agree to this retraction.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that might result from the retraction of this article.
