Subsequently to the publication of the above article, an interested reader drew to the authors' attention that, concerning the Transwell assay experiments shown in Fig. 3G and I on p. 8, the data panel showing the result of the 'LNCaP / sh-CASCS11-1' experiment in Fig. 3G appeared to be overlapping with the 'LNCaP / Vector' experiment in Fig. 3I, even though the data were intended to have shown the results from differently performed experiments.
After having re-examined their original data, the authors have realized that Fig. 3G and I were inadvertently assembled incorrectly. The revised version of Fig. 3, showing the correct data for the 'LNCaP / Vector' experiment in Fig. 3I, is shown on on the next page. The authors are grateful to the Editor of International Journal of Oncology for allowing them this opportunity to publish a Corrigendum, and all the authors agree with its publication.
