Following the publication of the above article, a number of errors were identified in the paper, and after having consulted with the editor of Molecular Medicine Reports, a corrigendum was published last year (“[Corrigendum] Differential miRNAomics of the synovial membrane in knee osteoarthritis induced by bilateral anterior cruciate ligament transection in rats.” Zhou J, Zhao Y, Wu G, Lin B, Li Z and Liu X. Mol Med Rep 20: 5363, 2019).
However, following publication of the above corrigendum, the paper was re-examined by the authors, and additional errors were identified; therefore, the authors are going to retract this paper from the publication.
All the authors agree to this retraction, and apologize to the Editor of Molecular Medicine Reports and to the readership for any inconvenience caused.
