Subsequently to the publication of the above article, we have realized that Fig. 1, which shows the morphology of HepG2 and HepG2.2.15 cells viewed under a microscope, contained three incorrect data panels. The image showing the HepG2.2.15 NC cells at 72 h was a duplicate of the panel showing the data for HepG2 NC cells at the 72 h time-point. The images of the HepG2 NC cells at the 48 and 96 h time-points were also included incorrectly in the figure.
A corrected version of Fig. 1 is shown below, featuring the correct data for the HepG2 NC (48 h), HepG2.2.15 NC (72 h) and HepG2 NC (96 h) experiments. Note that the images selected incorrectly for this figure did not have any influence on the results and conclusions reported in this study. The authors wish to apologize for these errors, and regret any inconvenience caused to the readership of the Journal.
