After the publication of the article, the authors noted that they had made an error regarding certain data in their manuscript. The error relates to the use of recombitant human lactoferrin (rhLf), as opposed to bovine lactoferrin (bLf). Throughout the article, rhLf should be replaced with bLf, and recombitant human lactoferrin (rhLf) with bovine lactoferrin (bLf).
