Diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders

Intellectual disability, communication disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, specific learning disorder and movement disorders have been included in neurodevelopmental disorders.Neurodevelopmental disorders manifest themselves in the early stages of development and are characterized by developmental deficits that cause a compression of personal, social, academic or occupational functioning. The range of deficits varies from very specific learning limitations to global impairments in social skills and intelligence. Neurodevelopmental disorders frequently co-occur We are delighted to announce the launch of a new Special Issue on the subject of Diagnosis and Treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders guest edited by Prof. Dr. Michele Roccella from the University of Palermo, Italy.
